Ezra Weston Loomis Pound

October 30, 1885 – November 1, 1972


He was an american poet musican and critic, he wite many plays and also translate some other plays like the poem in or literature book "The River - Merchants Wife: A letter". He was a major figure in the Modernist movement. He born in Hailey Iidaho in USA, he study in the university of Pennsylvania. He traveled to Europe for a time, he went to Paris, to Italy and also London.

He is recognized in the music field whe he develop his artistic talents, he make The cantos that is recognized like a great work, John Stevens saids, "melody and poem existed in a state of the closest symbiosis, obeying the same laws and striving in their different media for the same sound-ideal - armonia." about the Ezra work.

In poetry he translate poems and plays from 10 different languages to English, making great translations playing correctly with the words and giving the same fluency to the poems translation like the original version.
